RAP shortlisted for key packaging innovation award

RAP Shortlisted for Key Packaging Innovation Award

RAP’s pioneering BagRAP system has been shortlisted in the forthcoming UK Packaging Awards as one of the most innovative packaging solutions of the year.

The accolade is testament to our ongoing commitment to research and development, reinforcing RAP as an industry leader in the design and manufacture of simple, clever packaging solutions.

Through carefully considered design choices and material selection, BagRAP delivers significant pack cost savings over existing equivalent hand-packed systems, with no compromise in quality, shelf impact or process convenience – the true benchmark of innovation!

Key benefits of this simple, highly effective packaging solution include:

– Easy-open design which offers fantastic convenience for consumers
– Improved service time
– Brand associations of quality and environmental responsibility
– Paper from sustainable forests
– Compostable materials (available option)
– Unbeatable shelf impact, in turn helping to drive sales

A range of technically advanced, hermetically sealed + MA (Modified Atmosphere) options are also available. MA refers to our process that enables us to achieve less than 1% oxygen inside the pack. This significantly extends the freshness of chilled products, depending on their ingredients, for an even longer shelf life and reduced food waste.
